Montana

My mom had surgery at the beginning of October and we had been planning to go visit her to keep her company during her recovery. We went two weeks afterward and she was recovering well. Bummer for her though I was sick! Therefore, she ended up taking care of me and the twins instead of us taking care of her. She was wonderful though. We couldn't do much due to my lack of energy, so it was lots of relaxing, eating and game playing. Thanks Mama! Here are some pics from our stay.

Gracie and Ty loved all the yummy organic food Grandma got them. They ate so well.

Despite being sick we had a great visit and good flights. Thank you Lis for flying with us. It snowed while we were there and Grandpa Jim was busy getting an elk. But we were all excited to see Daddy when we got home. We missed him.

My morning routine consists of watching my morning shows starting with the Today show. I don't always get to watch much, but it usually is on in the background. Anyway, so this week has included lots of New Moon buzz, and cast promoting the film. I am officially excited! This was definately not my favorite book of the series, but the movie looks like a good time waiting to happen. I can't wait to see it! My sister needs to get here soon, or I may have to go without her.

So, I want to know who else is excited?

Come to Seattle lets have a girls night out with a few vampires and werewolves too! Then we can take a little drive to Forks :)

A whirlwind of things....

So, it has been way too long since I last posted. This was not my intent but as always things seem to come up. We have had quite the month. In a short recap, I have been sick for most of it, trying as hard as I could not to give it to the twins, we went to Montana to visit my mom for a week, then we moved from our crowded apartment to our new house! Still being sick I have tried to get settled a bit and just yesterday we got our internet set up. In the midst of this all, my phone broke, which is a bummer because I miss texting and now being able to call out at all. More details of all to come. Halloween pics first.....

For Halloween we went to our ward Trunk or Treat and then it was moving day for us. We just went to a few houses we knew and spent the evening enjoying the Ducks win!

Here are a bunch a pictures I have been meaning to post, but time seems to escape me. So, most of these are from September when the twins were 5 1/2 to 6 months old. It was a month full of learning new things like rolling over, rolling into each other, grabbing each others toys, smiling and laughing at each other. They have become so interactive with each other. I love it!

With the start of fall means football is in full swing! We love it and here is Gracie cheering on the right team :) Go Ducks!

Weekend with the Randalls

We were so lucky to have our friends from Idaho come visit us this last weekend. Luke, Jill and their three cute boys drove in Wednesday and stayed through Sunday. It was so fun having them stay and play with us. We had a fun filled four days which included: a trip to the zoo, dinner at the Hegsteds, a scavenger hunt at the temple, lunch at Pike Place Market, a snack at the Space Needle, date night with all the adults, a ferry ride and picnic lunch at Vashon Island with some General Conference in between. What a great time we had with them and are so glad they came to visit us. Kevin and I are so grateful to have such great friends. And we were so glad that the twins did so well with all our going and doing. Enjoy the pics.

6 months!

Yet, another month has so quickly passed by! Time never went this fast before I had the twins...here they are at 6 months!

I took them to get their six month pictures taken and my sweet Gracie didn't want any part of it. I think the bright flashes scare her. So, if at first you don't succeed then try, try again. Try again we did and were more successful. Thank you to my sister for going and helping. Ty was a stud and even though we still didn't get a picture of them smiling together, I am pleased with the shots I got.

Her stats: 13 lbs. 4 oz
24 and half inches
Healthy and cute as can be! She has become quite the giggler and loves to laugh at her daddy. She loves to be tickled, cuddled and sang to. She call roll from her tummy to back and has started eating squash and carrots.



Tyler Kevin


His stats: 17 lbs. 3 oz.
26 and a quarter inches
Also healthy and cute as can be. Ty is super strong and has been rolling around like crazy all month long. He wants to crawl so bad and is working on sitting up on his own. He loves to laugh, smile, talk, jump, and play with his toys. He has started saying "mama" and sometimes "baba".



Can you tell that I just love them so much! They are the light of our lives!
