Merry Christmas

I am truly grateful for our savior Jesus Christ and his love I feel each day. I love that we can celebrate his birth and are able to reflect on the importance of this very special event in history. He is the greatest gift that we are allowed to have if we so choose. For that I am forever grateful and feel so blessed.

Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! I hope you have a wonderful holiday and feel the spirit of the season.

Our Tree Hunt

We are so lucky to have so many great tree farms to choose from in our area. The weekend of Thanksgiving we went out to find our Christmas tree.


I have always likes the grand firs and am told they smell the best so that is what we found! It didn't take too long to find, but we had to make sure it was the one.


Ty and Gracie had such a great time wandering around all the trees. Gracie found a leaf to carry.


And now she is sharing it with Ty.


They thought this was quite the toy.

This is their first candy cane and I think they both loved it.


Our beautiful tree and oh it smells so good.


Now if only we could keep Ty and Gracie from touching it and breaking all our ornaments. A fun day we had though!

'Tis the Season!

Halloween Continued

I was a little worried this Halloween because I wasn't sure if Ty would let me put his costume on him, but he didn't seem to mind too much. We went to our ward Trunk or Treat and had a great time. Gracie loved looking at everyone dressed up. They both enjoyed getting the treats.

I love this sassy little duck! She loved dressing up and said "quack...quack".


She is all ready to cheer on the Ducks. The cutest mascot!


"RRRRRR" My little pirate! As long as he got to have his bunny blankie.


Ty very much enjoyed the treats that came with wearing a costume.


Mama we are done with pictures and this hat is coming off!


We didn't have very many trick or treaters leaving us lots of extra candy. Now if only I could stop eating it!

Halloween

First the pumpkin patch. We found this great family farm pumpkin patch to take the kids to. It only rained on us a little bit, and we had such a great time picking out our pumpkins. Kev had never been to a pumpkin patch until we moved to the Pacific Northwest. I tell him he was deprived because they make for such fun family outings.

We took them on the kiddie car ride first. Ty and Daddy rode in the cow and he really did enjoy it once it got started.


Gracie loves rides!! She wanted to go again again. She really enjoyed riding in the horsie.


They had this great petting farm. I loved how each animal was in its on place and how clean it was. Ty and Gracie really enjoyed petting the animals.


Ty will often times get down and give the animals "loves" if you ask him to.


They liked peeking in the rabbit cage.


Sadly, everything was going great until the pigs. Ty had already been nipped at and right after this pic Gracie was too. Thus, we were done with the animals.


Ty picked out his pumpkin and tried to carry it.


Gracie also picked out her pumpkin and she tried so hard to carry it.


The twinners really loved playing in all the pumpkins. Ty especially loved walking all around them and getting muddy of course.


He also enjoyed his wheelbarrow rides from Daddy.


And Gracie just wanted so badly to push it herself.


They had this amazing sweet corn. It was delicious. We should have bought lots more.


Gracie enjoyed eating the corn all the way to the car.


And finally our pumpkins! I think we picked the best ones.


A very fun day for us. And there was also a hayride we didn't do and a kiddie corn maze we didn't make it to. There was also lots more goodies to be had and a marketplace.

Some fun

I have been really bad about taking pictures of my kiddos lately. Blame it on the pregnancy, or I think I just get frustrated because they are not posers and I always catch their backs to me. Not that I want all their pictures posed, but a smile and looking at me would be nice once in awhile.

Anyway, so I was surprised when I came home from my prenatal yoga class the other night and Kev said he took some pictures of them. I was shocked because he is never the one to take pictures. Of course he took pics of them climbing in the windowsill, something I don't let them do. But he got them to smile!

These two faces make me smile, and laugh everyday. Oh how I love them.


So Gracie girl is just the silliest. She was all ready to go outside in her rainboots.


My sweet Ty! He just loves his fruit!


She loves to climb and play in any open container.

Football Players

IT'S A BOY!

We had our ultrasound on Tuesday and got to see our cute, little BOY!


Our ultrasound tech let us choose a pair of socks for our little guy.


Of course, I had a girls name all picked out and no boys names. We are very excited to have another football player though. They better take good care of Gracie.

18 months already!

My babies are 18 months old! This milestone makes me a little sad because they are just growing so fast. I feel so blessed to have them in my life and am so thankful I get to spend each day with them. Today was their first day going to Nursery at church. I stayed with them the whole time, but they did so well and had so much fun. I think they will do just fine in there.

So we had their 18 month check-up a couple weeks ago and here are their stats:

Tyler



Ty-Ty: Weighs: 25 lbs. 8 oz. 33 and a half inches and yes his head is still in the 90th percentile. A very healthy boy!

He loves: to play outside, to wrestle with daddy, find and squish frogs, jump on beds, climb on everything, run really fast, read books, throw things, build towers with blocks or canned food, play and bug his sister, his paci, and dance to music.

Favorite words to say: "No" and "Mommy"

Favorite food: grapes, strawberries, cheese



Gracie






Gracie Girl: Weighs: 19 lbs. 12 oz. 31 inches and continues to stay right on her little growth path. We found out she had a little ear infection, her first one, and she never acted like she even had one. What a tough girl!

She loves: to play outside, to give loves to her stuffed animals, to push her stroller around the house, to color and draw, to put things back in containers, to help mommy clean, to bring me the broom, to play on the stairs, to jump on beds, to climb on everything, to read books, play with Ty, her paci, and dance to music.

Favorite words to say: "uh oh" and "Daddy"

Favorite food: cheese, cereal, sweets

Obviously Gracie didn't want her picture taken, she just really wanted to climb.

A few family members have been asking for some updated pics, but mostly my sister keeps bugging me to post something new. Here you go Auntie.


Gracie is very shy and a big mommy's girl, but she has a special connection with her Uncle. He is the only other person beside Daddy that I have seen her give loves to.


Uncle Chris came to visit for the weekend! We love him!


Ty and Gracie loved building towers with Uncle Chris and then knocking them down.


Ty loves to ride his lion. He also loves to climb on it and balance himself.


So fun to have Daddy throw me up in the air!
